first, i'm a little confused as to which post to reply to so here goes.

i don't mind the crue, i might even claim to like them. if you asked me back after shout at the devil i would have said hey yeah i like them, now you only get an eh, i like 'em. BUT i think they are putting just a little too much hype behind this reunion. maybe if this was a reunion that was just going to happen in hollywood, ya know like maybe a show at the whisky and that's all, then sure, hype it up all they want but really, outside of hollywood, no one really cares that much about motley crue anymore except that they were pretty big in the eighties. i know there are a few people here and there that still adore them and that's cool, nothing wrong with that but you would swear with this hype that jesus herself just got off the subway in times square and picked up a guitar and started playing broadway show tunes while riding a unicycle. they are asking more for a crue ticket then what they are asking for a duran duran ticket.

like oh my god that is soooo totally uncool fer sure. total bummer!

Sadly (for the ppl hating the reunion thing),
according to this week's Kerrang! mag, it's down
to my fellow countriworms that Crue are back
together. That mocked up poster on Sludge was
part of it. The Internet and a few tens of
thousands did the rest.

Musically, I think Crue are still great. I loved
the shift in production circa'Swine, Carved in
Stone, Tommy's collab's with Reznor, etc. The
rest of it is just vinegar and piss PR hyperbole,
which we're all old enough to see through.... I
